Challenging for transgender clients

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Transgender prisoners face many challenges. HFP does its best to help, and this was one note of thanks we received: "I have received some good news and I owe you a very big THANK YOU, for certainly it is because of your efforts that I have received the single cell accommodation that I now have. In the madness of everything going wrong with me currently, having not to have to worry about another person being placed in the cell with me is more comforting than mere words could express. I truly thank you for your help and the quick action that you took to get Lansing to do the right thing."
