COVID Test Fails

A client comments on COVID testing at Gus Harrison CF: "Recently, the testing here has been challenging. To demonstrate, because NexGen is commercially testing prisoners, they are not required to keep accurate records of previous testing. As a result, genomic sequencing is not done, therefore, when there is a false positive reported, this rare occurrence is just accepted "as is" (without checking previous records), while prisoners are quarantined all over again. Unfortunately, this type of sub-standard healthcare has plagued the prison system, and it appears putting an end to redundant testing could be the answer."
