Dear Friends of HFP,
The printing of formal invitations costs dollars! Instead, we prefer to use as many dollars as possible to ease the pain and burdens of incarcerated men and women in Michigan. So, this year’s invitation to our popular annual event comes to you on our plain ol’ letterhead!
This is your personal invitation to attend perhaps one of the most popular events created by Humanity for Prisoners: THE ANNUAL UNBALL! Perhaps it’s so popular because you don’t get a seat at a table, or you don’t get a charcuterie plate, or you won’t be sitting next to someone who talks too much. You can be assured that the speaker won’t be long and boring…the music won’t be too loud!
Yes, it will be a beautiful evening because you get to stay home! That means you won’t have to buy new clothes, you won’t have to hire a baby-sitter, you won’t have to pay for a haircut and there’ll be no travel expenses.
We hope you can’t be there!
Tickets are on sale from now until the end of May. The price is only $75 per ticket! Better yet, purchase a table so that you and your friends can all stay home…just $500.00!
Some supporters and businesses prefer to be on our sponsors list, not published on our non-printed program (but credit given on social media!). Sponsorships can be purchased for as little as $250.00 or as much as $10,000.00.
We have some exciting news to share! Thanks to a generous donor, all donations will be matched—doubled—so every gift goes twice as far in helping us make a difference.
Even more exciting, we’re offering an extra boost for new donors: their gifts will be quadrupled, meaning a single gift will have four times the impact.
