Numerous Michigan prisoners are not allowed to visit with their spouses, kids and loved ones, indefinitely, because of tickets they received for alleged misconduct.

It only makes sense that, in assisting our clients with in-prison issues, we also do our part to help them make a successful reentry into society.

I have been quick to criticize the actions of some prison guards. But, I find it necessary and important to support them when they are the ones being mistreated.

“Prison education is a concept whose time has come. It is time to stop studying the issue and stop discoursing. It is time to start the ball rolling and do something about it.”
