Support Action with Compassion
With an organization as small (and mighty) as ours,
every little bit counts. Seriously.
One time gifts. Recurring donations. Volunteering. Simply sharing about our services with your network. It is all immeasurably beneficial to our mission of responding to each request we receive.
Humanity for Prisoners is a registered 501(c)3.
All donations are tax-deductible.
(You will see us listed as "Innocent" dba Humanity for Prisoners.)
We do not share your contact information with others.

Ensuring action with compassion for all
HFP Everyday Kindness Club
$765 annually or $63 per month recognizes an incarcerated individual’s right to publicly available information, and allows us to submit FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests on
their behalf.
$260 annually or $5 per week allows us to process simple requests we receive, bringing humanity and compassion into the lives of 70 people a day – 70 people on an average workday asking for help, and over 1,000 new clients so far this year (as of August 2020).
Preparing for the return home
HFP Community Club
$1,200 annually or $100 per month helps ensure an individual has the tools, support, and resources needed to prepare an effective application for commutation (a lifer’s only chance)
$420 annually or $35 per month helps to reconnect someone on the inside with a lost loved one, bridging distant relationships and begin rebuilding support networks
Ensuring basic care and safety
HFP Wellbeing Club
$6,000 annually or $500 per month helps ensure two individuals with complex medical needs get the care and attention they deserve.
$3,000 annually or $250 per month supports ten prisoners resolving basic medical and mental health issues.
$1,800 annually or $150 per month provides five prisoners support in navigating critical MDOC policies and advocating for themselves regarding issues like basic food quality and physical safety.
